National and Islamic Front in Iraq (FPNI) has replied to the U.S. President Obama speech in Cairo.

In a statement of its media office, the Patriotic, National and Islamic Front in Iraq (FPNI) has replied to the U.S. President Mr. Barak Obama speech in Cairo on Thursday June 4, 2009, as the following:

The name of God, the Merciful

Noble people of Iraq
Freedom Fighters of Pride and dignity,
Sons of our glorious Arab and Islamic nations,
Free men of the World,

Despite all the huge propaganda that preceded the U.S. President Mr. Barack Obama speech in Cairo on June 4th 2009, as the first speech by an American president addressing mainly the Islamic world, what President Obama said about Iraq was very obscure and imposes many questions that require clarification and clear declaration on the part of Obama and his administration.
Mr. Obama said the U.S. administration went to Iraq on its own and by its choice. But who authorized this administration to occupy a sovereign and independent nation, a founding member of the United Nations, the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the Non-Aligned Countries with military force, without any international legitimacy and against the international community will.
If Mr. Obama wants to correct and enhance the image of the U.S. after the invasion and occupation of Iraq, he has to recognize very clearly and frankly the U.S. responsibility of all that Iraq has been exposed to as a people and a state: the human and the material losses, the destruction of its infrastructure and the obstruction of its cultural, scientific and social advancement during six years of the American control of all the capabilities of Iraq.
In addition, president Obama also said that the situation in Iraq is now better than before the occupation. We wonder how things are measured and which is the criterion of preference? Are the Iraqi people living in a situation of security and safety during all the years of occupation? Can an Iraqi family live an hour during the day or night under your occupation without worrying about their sons?
Where is the democracy that was promised by the Bush administration to the Iraqis in the context of promoting the invasion and occupation? Is it the democracy of the dozens of U.S. prisons and the prisons of the puppet government, where almost half a million of the Iraqis succumb? Or perhaps it is the democracy of the unidentified corpses, whose heads are severed or drilled by electric drillers? Is this the better situation you are referring to, Mr.Obama? Or is it the democracy of the sectarian division, of the allotment of gains of power and transferring them into sectarian bank credits, buildings and villas owned by the new rulers? Or is it the democracy the poverty and destitution, and the arrival of the percentage of the poor at 75 percent of the Iraqi people? Did Iraq before the occupation experience the violent chaos that it is experiencing today? Are the services given to the Iraqi people far better now than what the national regime gave them? Was the level of education and health as low as it is now in the democratic Iraq of (transparency and integrity) which people detests because of the so many crimes committed against them and in their names?
President said Obama: We will leave Iraq to its people. Who are its people according to Mr. Obama? Are they the despised agents who caused more suffering for the people through their abhorrent sectarian project, whose predictable consequences are dismantling the Iraqi social fabric? Are the people of Iraq in Mr. Obama and his administration point of view, are they the corrupt, counterfeiters and thieves who did not build a single school in Iraq after six years of the occupation, and whose financial and administrative scandals have made Iraq the first corrupt country in the world?

We say to Mr. Obama that the people of Iraq know their men, and they know who the builders of the country are, and who are responsible for its modern scientific and cultural renaissance. If (or because), Mr. Obama does not want to know the truth, or will not acknowledge it, but he has ignored the crimes of the U.S. forces in Iraq and the crimes of its servants in the Maliki government have committed against the Iraqi population. Mr. Obama has committed guilt of making his discourse obscure in regard to Iraq and its people.
Mr. Obama said that the withdrawal from Iraq will be in the year 2012. This is another obscurity as far as the previously announced U.S. timings are concerned. The treaty of submission (SOFA) has defined the year 2011 as the year of withdrawal of the last American soldier from Iraq. This is a new date, or is the U.S. administration the sole decider and will not commit to any agreement, as usual.
Finally, our people in Iraq know who the men of promise and fight are, it knows how they managed to force out more than one third of U.S. troops serving in Iraq. The brave Iraqi resistance of all orientations: patriotic, national, and Islamic has failed the occupation project and it is on its way to fail the abhorrent political process. The Iraqi people are the real incubator of the resistance and its brave men in order to return Iraq free, independent, Arabic and Muslim, and its occupants to leave defeated.
